ARTS BALLROOM- REVISITED

There is a new venue in Philadelphia that I am so excited to show you! When I received the email yesterday from Starr Events about it, my jaw dropped at it's total opulence and majesty.
Imagine your wedding day here!

Arts Ballroom is Philadelphia’s premiere special events venue located directly off of the Avenue of the Arts, where cultural sophistication and diversity meet the richness of tradition and antiquity. Positioned on the ground level of the Arts Condominium, this 1920s Art Deco inspired building was the former site of the Hotel Sylvania. Boasting a two-story Grand Hall, Ballroom, and Mezzanine, the Arts Ballroom offers both historical distinction and contemporary style for events from 100-400 guests.

With the exceptional food and service of the Starr Restaurant Group and the amazing imagery surrounding you, your wedding will WOW your guests and make you feel like royalty on your special day. To schedule your visit to see this fabulous and exciting new venue, contact Starr Events today! Not only will you be surrounded with the history of Philadelphia and the beauty of the space, but you are conveniently close to some of the city's best hotels and restaurants. Your guests will enjoy every amenity during their stay in the city. I went to see the Arts Ballroom today and now I am really excited to take you there! So, lets get started planning your dream wedding at this gorgeous venue with the impeccable food of Steven Starr and the historic surroundings of Philadelphia.

TAG IT WITH A ZIG ZAG

These cute little zig- zag tags are perfect for out of town guest bags or thank you tags for your favors. You can coordinate them with thank you notes or other fun paper products from Linda and Harriett's wonderful designs. Or, just pick them up for your own little gift tags for birthdays or hostess gifts. Very Cute!

THERE'S A SMALL HOTEL...

...in Philadelphia that I just have to tell you about! It's called the Independent and it is right in the heart of ceter city. There are special packages for all of you brides who want to block your out of town guest rooms in a more quaint and relaxing environment. Here's a little insight into these packages:
"The Independent Hotel offers group discounts for a wedding block of (10) confirmed guestrooms or more and for wedding blocks of (15) confirmed guest rooms or more the Bride & Groom receive Complimentary Wedding Night accommodations, Fresh Flowers, Champagne on ice and Chocolates to devour….Each overnight guest within your wedding block will receive an in-room bottle of wine - chilled to perfection and exceptional service during their stay. "

You can see more about this lovely little gem on the Style Network- if you are an early morning riser, at 5:30AM on March 20 or on Fox 29 in Philadelphia on March 22 at 3PM. Here is a clip of the TV spot.

Thanks to Rachel Rowan for introducing me to this new little haven in the bustle of the city- perfect for your out of town guests! Contact Rachel for more information or to block rooms for your wedding.

WELCOME GUESTS!

How to welcome your out of town guests? Gift baskets are not always easy to think of. City maps and brochures of things to do are a great way to add to a gift. Think of a theme based on the city or the wedding and come up with a creative way to package the gifts for the hotel rooms. Here are two ideas that are clever and very welcoming!
