Extra! Extra! My Bride is in the news!

This is in the Sunday Inquirer in Philadelphia! What a great wedding!! It was visually breathtaking and all the hard work of Petals Lane and Feast Your Eyes really showed! I am very proud to have planned and executed this fabulous day with lots of help from my colleagues!!!
Mimi says
"All the planning was definitely worth it - but thank God for our wedding coordinator [Wendy Hartigan from Wendy's Affairs of the Heart]. We could enjoy our day."

Some Great Small Businesses Worth Checking

Hi Brides!
It's Saturday morning and I am fishing around for new ideas for my brides in 2007. Have some great links for you to check out, small companies that do a great job. Click on the links and see what I mean. www.wellspunweddings.com, www.ohjoystudio.com
Also want to touch base on some disturbing message board posts. Girls, buying a wedding gown on line is SO dangerous! Don't do it. Go to a reputable bridal salon ( not David's) and buy your gown. Even if you want to save money and buy a sample gown or a discontinued gown off the rack or even a gown that someone else bought and didn't use. But, internet shopping can lead to disaster on your most special day!
Questions? Write to me at wendyangell@gmail.comI will be glad to share and give you great tips for your wedding! Have a great weekend everyone!

The First Dance

One of my happy brides and her new husband enjoying their first dance as husband and wife. Her name is Joy and she was! A freelance designer married to an orthopedic surgeon. She did many of her own designs for her stationary, placecards, favors, etc. I loved doing this wedding and happy to share this adorable picture with all of you.
