HERE COMES THE BRIDE

Bridal for Spring 2012 is just too special for words! Trends range from sleeves, to necklines to color. It was so hard to decide which of the hundreds of incredible gowns to show you. So, I chose from some of my favorite designers, picked out the latest trends on the runways and threw in some dresses that stand the test of time. Together, it is a feast for the eyes and mass confusion for all of you looking at these stunning examples of what 2012 has to offer.

V-necks are big! The vintage look of a plunging neckline and a silky charmouse sheath, a jacket or wrap or a high neck, the beauty of lace and the demure look of a sleeve. Classic elegance, simple lines, long sleeves, pinks and browns and greens. Lots of tulle. Ribbons and bows and big flowers. All of this makes for the new season of bridal fashion.

Do you want to look like a fairy princess, an old Hollywood star, an urban chic modern bride or Princess Grace? A garden wedding, a formal affair, a country estate or a castle on the river- all of these can be seen in the gowns here. A flower, a cloud, a firey siren, a goddess or a queen. From Vera Wang to Carolina Herrara to Ines DiSanto, Lela Rose, Priscilla of Boston, and Reem Acra. Monique Lhullier, Christos, Amsale, Kenneth Pool and Rivini. No matter who you love, no matter your style, you will find a gown that you will swoon over from the moment you put it on.

And, just when you thought it couldn't get any better- these two Oscar de la Renta gowns are magnificent! You can be Scarlett O'Hara or a snow queen. How will you ever choose?!
