I
I lost my mother today. It has been a very long and sad summer and the last month has been extremely difficult. My life has been spent between hours at the hospital and caring for my granddaughter. My days have been long and the decisions I have been forced to make have been heart wrenching and so hard. When I went to find some photos of my mother to use for this sad post, I realized I have almost no photos of my mother and I together. These photos of my mother with her grandchildren are all I could find. I am exhausted and sad, but I am relieved that my mother isn't suffering anymore and she is in a much happier place. I have been away from my blog during this time, but can now get back to what gives me such pleasure- sharing wedding news with all of you.

You are in our prayers. I lost my mother over 20 years ago. She died at 61 years of age and it was a devestating loss for me. Any death is life-altering. Take care of yourself . . .

Marcus
