YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE

Recent articles on eWedNews, feedback from other vendors and personal experience have brought to light the ever growing problem of fraud and inexperience in the wedding industry. Today, I give you this piece from the The Early Show . This couple was scammed by a planner who, they thought, was a gem. She turned out to be their worst nightmare. I post this today as a warning to all of you brides out there looking for reputable vendors. PLEASE! Be careful and don't take a flashy web site or a testimonial as proof that this is a good choice. Get references and make phone calls- not only to other couples, but to vendors that have "worked" with the person you are considering. You get one chance at a perfect wedding. Be smart.
